Have You Heard Of Tixel Or TMA?

Hush Clinical Uses A New Technology Called TMA

TMA® is a non-laser fractional technology developed by Novoxel® that combines motion, heat, and a medical-grade titanium tip to deliver exceptional skin results.
It is not a laser, but instead, it uses thermo-mechanical energy to create tiny channels into the skin, its been noted by many as the level above RF needling and is safe and more effective in our experince.
The TMA hand piece comprises of a sterile titanium tip embedded with 81 tiny pyramid-shaped cones to rapidly deliver high levels of thermo-mechanical heat to the skin’s surface.
Brief millisecond pulses create micro wound chanels into the skin layer whilst leaving the surrounding skin untouched resulting in a minimal skin reactions.

Depending on your skin condition and skin goals, different settings can be used.

Particularly useful on eyelids, undereyes, old acne scars resistant to other treatments. Deep Wrinkles and fine lines. Poor texture and lax skin.

The Different TMA Settings

The treatments can be adjusted based on specific treatment goals and individual skin conditions. The depth of penetration into the skin and the duration of the tip's contact with the skin can be finely tuned. Hush Clinical offers different treatment levels, including:

  1. Open channel: This level is a lighter treatment option. The heat applied to the skin creates channels in the upper layer, allowing for the delivery of corrective and beneficial products into the skin. It can address concerns such as skin laxity, pigmentation issues, melasma, and rosacea. There is typically minimal downtime, and patients can usually resume their normal activities the next day.

  2. Ablative: This level involves a deeper treatment for rejuvenation and targeting fine lines, wrinkles, and scarring. The results are comparable to those achieved with fractional CO2 laser resurfacing or deep chemical peels. Recovery time can vary, and patients may experience some redness and small micro-crusts on the skin for 1-3 days.

TMA Benefits Vs Skin Needling

TMA® technology offers certain advantages compared to traditional skin needling techniques. Here are a few reasons why TMA® may be considered better:

  1. Precision and Control: TMA® technology allows for precise control over the treatment process. The heated pins make brief, controlled contact with the skin, ensuring consistent and targeted delivery of thermal energy. This level of precision can result in more predictable and reliable outcomes compared to manual skin needling.

  2. Safety and Comfort: TMA® technology incorporates built-in safety measures to prevent burns or tissue charring. The limited amount of energy held in the small tip pyramids minimizes the risk of adverse effects. Additionally, the controlled speed and brief contact time of the heated pins ensure a comfortable treatment experience for patients.

  3. Customization and Adaptability: TMA® technology offers flexibility in treatment parameters. The depth of the micro-wounds and the energy delivered can be adjusted to suit individual patient needs and specific skin concerns. This adaptability allows for personalized treatment plans that can target various skin conditions effectively.

  4. Minimal Downtime: TMA® treatments typically involve minimal downtime compared to traditional skin needling. The controlled thermal energy delivered by the TMA® technology promotes the formation of micro-coagulation sites without ablating the tissue extensively. This results in faster healing and recovery, allowing patients to return to their daily activities sooner.

  5. Enhanced Results: Due to its precise and controlled nature, TMA® technology can potentially provide more consistent and improved results compared to traditional skin needling. The creation of micro-wounds stimulates collagen production and skin rejuvenation processes, leading to smoother, more youthful-looking skin over time.

It's important to consult with a qualified skincare professional to determine the most suitable treatment approach for your specific skin concerns and goals. They can provide custom recommendations based on your individual needs and preferences.

It is normal to experience a mild sunburn sensation for about 2-6 hours after the treatment.

For higher settings, complete healing may take up to 4 days, with some flaking and redness persisting for 2-4 days.
Occasionally, small micro crusts resembling tiny scratches may form, which typically last for several days.

During the first 6 hours after the treatment, it is crucial to avoid touching, scratching, washing the treated skin
Avoid being in areas where your skin will be exposed to dust or dirt. Keep your windows closed when driving home.
